Wed, 15 May 2019 - Britney Spears May Never Perform Again, Longtime Manager Say

Britney Spears‘ longtime manager Larry Rudolph has come forward to reveal that he suspects the superstar may never perform again.

“As the person who guides her career — based on the information I and all of the professionals who work with her are being told on a need-to-know basis — from what I have gathered it’s clear to me she should not be going back to do this Vegas residency, not in the near future and possibly never again,” Larry told TMZ.

In addition, he said, “Last summer, when she wanted to tour, she called me every day. She was excited. She hasn’t called me in months. Crickets. She clearly doesn’t want to perform now.”

If you don’t know, back in January, Britney decided to go on hiatus and halt her Vegas residency. A few months later, she checked into a mental health facility.

Britney recently spoke directly to her fans about her mental health.

Wed, 15 May 2019 - Britney Spears' Manager on Free Britney Movement: 'It Has No Factual Basis

Britney Spears‘ longtime manager Larry Rudolph is speaking out about the Free Britney movement.

“[Britney] is the one whose focus is on on [getting better]. She’s driving it,” Larry told Variety about Britney‘s mental health. “I understand how much these fans love her and support her and I love that. The part that concerns me is that it has no factual basis. The personal issues that Britney is dealing with are highly complicated and the conservatorship is there for a reason. The courts of the State of California take this very seriously. I hope the people allow her to have her private time.”

Larry has managed Britney since 1999.

“I’ve been with her for two-thirds of her life,” Larry continued. “I look at her almost like I look at my own daughter. It’s very emotional for me … and really rough. Personally, I want for her to just find a peaceful, happy place — whatever that means for her. It’s not about a career anymore — it’s about life.”

“Let her be a civilian for a while,” he added. “She’s given so much. Give her time.”

Earlier in the day, Larry gave a separate interview to TMZ about Britney‘s future in performing.

Wed, 15 May 2019 - Britney Spears' Conservatorship Judge Orders Investigation of Her Cas

The judge involved in the conservatorship of Britney Spears is ordering an investigation of everyone involved in the case.

The judge ordered a probate court investigator to examine the case prior to the next hearing in September, The Blast reported on Wednesday (May 15).

The investigator will “conduct extensive interviews with all the people involved in a conservatorship case, including guardians, conservators, doctors and even law enforcement officials who have had contact with the subject of the conservatorship. The investigator will also be reviewing medical and financial records, including custody agreements and even contractual obligations…such as her Las Vegas residency.”

Britney and her mother Lynne Spears reportedly claimed in court last week that her father Jamie Spears committed her to a mental health facility against her will and forced her to take drugs, according to sources via TMZ. The judge then reportedly took no action and ordered an evaluation of Britney.

Britney‘s current manager, Larry Rudolph, spoke out on Wednesday (May 15), saying the conservatorship, which has been in place since 2008, is there “for a reason.”

“The personal issues that Britney is dealing with are highly complicated and the conservatorship is there for a reason. The courts of the State of California take this very seriously. I hope the people allow her to have her private time,” he told Variety.

“Let her be a civilian for a while. She’s given so much. Give her time,” he added.
